Come and be a part of Marquis Crossing Ladies Society’s First Attempt at Murder, "a wise-cracking farce where no one can tell the loaded guns from the unloaded ones"
6:30 pm, June 22 and 24, 2026 — Come to one or both auditions!
No prep needed. Auditions are relaxed with actors asked to read together from sections of the script.
You will have a chance to request to play a certain character, but the final decision will be up to the director.

Two weekends in mid-September 2026
ACTORS: Cast consists of 6 women ages 20 to 80, and 3 men ages 20 to 80.
Rehearsal days and times will be determined after auditions according to actor, stage crew, and director availability.
Do you think it is easy to write a murder mystery and that anyone can do it? That’s what the ladies thought. They soon find themselves writing “an operatic murder mystery dinner theater with possible audience participation (as long as no one sells fruit). They are “helped” by two escaping convicts hiding out from the police. Chaos ensues. It is after all, their first attempt at murder.
